My greatest supporters have been my family supporting me through the whole process. They were able to help me on the days I went straight from work right to online/in person classes until late at night. My fellow cohort members truly helped my spirit on the days I was feeling low. Every class with them brought my spirits up just being around them made me want to be there.
Favorite Saint Mary's Memory
My favorite Saint Mary's memory was during a class we got to get up, eat our snack and walk around for a bit. Nicole and I were just munching on our popcorn and hanging around outside and in that moment it was so nice to just get outside and have a breather and just talk together. It was refreshing and something I have incorporated into my classroom.
My Next Chapter
I will be continuing working as a high school math teacher at Carondelet High School. I have been working here for 3 years and I am excited to keep working with my students. They bring me so much joy and every day is a new day. My students are what makes me excited and happy about work.
