Favorite Saint Mary's Memory
Working late night shifts at the front desk in the library because my coworkers were great friends and turned an unexciting college job into a party. Sharing stories with them and getting to talk to friends passing through the library was an enjoyable time I cherish.
My Next Chapter
This fall I will enter the seminary for Diocese of Oakland to study for the Catholic priesthood. God willing, after 6-7 years of formation I will be ordained a diocesan priest.

My friends and family. I wouldn't be here if my parents had not sacrificed a lot in order for me to become a first generation college grad. I thank them everyday for what they have done for giving me the life that I have now. My best friends have always been by my side helping me through ups and downs and without them, I wouldn't be the strong individual I am today.

Meeting those who I call my best friends now. Spending late nights studying with Franny in the classrooms in Dante. Rooming with my favs, Clara, Jazmine and Gabby. Feeling welcomed within the Sociology department and finding my passion of sociology through the classes I took. Going to Denny's with the boyz, Vaibhav and Akhil.
My Next Chapter
I will be working as a Research Assistant for Art Builds Community, an art consulting firm in San Jose, and looking at master programs for sociology. I'd like to get my masters sometime within the next few years and further work as a researcher.

She is the Bay Area Student Shorts Film Festival Coordinator, GRID Art Club co-president, and Brother Cornelius Art Scholarship recipient. She studied design in Barcelona last spring and plans to return to Spain for employment for the upcoming year. Amanda is very grateful to her professors and colleagues for their guidance, encouragement, and creative energy during her time Saint Mary's. My favorite memory by far has to be my entire first year. While I was trying to figure out my new life at Saint Mary's, I could always count on my friends: Karina, Alondra, Sam, and Gabi. They have brought so much love and laughter into my life and I will cherish that forever.

I plan to pursue a career in HR or something in that realm. I am also considering graduate school in the future to study intercultural communication. My plans might change but I am ready for this new journey I am about to embark on.
