My Greatest Supporters

The love and support of my wife, Marcie, who spent hundreds of hours with me in the library researching and tutoring. Claire Williams for her encouragement to complete my long process of finishing my comp tests. Steve Miller for being fair and keeping me motivated during challenging times. Kelly Luquet for checking on me over the years. Russel Tiberian who helped me navigate through my courses.

Favorite Saint Mary's Memory

Late night study groups in the Saint Albert Hall Library with Tobias, Phil, DJ, and Gita. Class times with Shari Otto’s research class, Bill Manning’s field trips, Mark Nagel’s class role playing, Piper Brewster’s sports law class, Craig Johnson’s philosophy and golf classes, Leilani Wagner’s social media classes. Dining in Oliver Hall was like being in Harry Potter’s Great Hall.

My Next Chapter

I have already accomplished many of my goals in life from retiring after 21 years in the US Marines, working in the recreational field for 20 years, and completing my undergraduate and my graduate Kinesiology degrees at SMC. Now it’s time to enjoy life with my wife and family.

Clubs and Activities

Veteran students of Saint Mary's and working as a teachers and recreation aid in the local elementary school.

My Greatest Supporters

My family, friends, colleagues, and educators were my greatest supporters throughout my time at SMC. I'm grateful for their help and support throughout my time as a student at SMC. I also want to pay tribute to my grandparents and ancestors who made the journey to come to this country. If it was not for them, I would not be here getting my master's degree, I dedicate this accomplishment to them!

Favorite Saint Mary's Memory

Some of the best memories I had at SMC were attending the sporting events and cheering for the Gaels. In addition to this, I enjoyed going to my lectures and learning from my professors in the evenings and early morning hikes in the SMC hills with friends and colleagues. Those were some of the best memories I had during my time at SMC, which I will cherish and never forget.

My Next Chapter

After SMC, I look to work in the sports industry to become an executive leader for a professional sports organization. My goal is to become the head of a Guest Services or Experience department for a professional sports franchise. At this time, I am the current head of the Guest Services department for the Sacramento Republic FC organization and will continue to work earnestly in that role.

My parents, my rocks or support, Diala, Chinyere & Joy Ikeme. Nothing is possible without y’all!

My siblings Ekene, Onyinyechi, and Ugochi for keeping sane along my journey and putting up with my, more than occasional, nonsense.

And my friends and family who’ve had my back along my path!

Favorite Saint Mary's Memory

Spending an entire night with Matt Delmartini working on a Sports Administration Budgeting project. We we down 1 group member, who shall remain nameless, and we had to slap each other silly to stay awake in order to finish. Couldn’t have been more proud of a ‘B’ grade in my life!

My Next Chapter

I recently relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada to be close to my daughter and continue my career in fitness with the hopes of expanding my network and reach
