Xochitl Dueñas is a Bay Area native who earned her Bachelor's degrees in English and Art History from UC Santa Barbara in 2015. In obtaining her single-subject teaching credential and Master's in Teaching from Saint Mary's, she is committed to a career of creating and striving for equity in education. She currently teaches 12th grade English and ELD 4 at Pittsburg High School, and is excited to begin her third year of teaching in the fall.
