I would love to thank my parents, Renee and Jacinto Amaru, and my family for their support and encouragement. My love and admiration for them is immeasurable. I would also like to thank my professors, especially in the Anthropology and Biochemistry Departments for their support, patience, and knowledge. I would also like to express my upmost gratitude for all of my friends and colleagues.
Favorite Saint Mary's Memory
My favorite St. Mary's memory is going on a walk with my new roommate my second year where he showed me the Marian grotto, Our Lady of the Oaks. It is a beautiful area hidden in the grove. It was then that I realized the memories I create here will stay with me long after I graduate.
My Next Chapter
I will be staying here at Saint Mary's College for graduate school. I will be attending the Kalmanovitz School of Education's Single Subject Teacher Credentialing Program. I hope to become a science teacher at the high-school level.

Caminante, no hay camino, se hace camino al andar;
Al andar se hace camino y al volver la vista atrás,
Se ve la senda que nunca se ha de volver a pisar."
