Every summer of Orientation and WoW will always be close to my heart; having a blast with NSFP, fellow Orientation Leaders and WoWies for three years has meant the world. Hosting KSMC radio shows, rockin' out to music, and having the honor to be on the KSMC exec. team and GM.

My Next Chapter

I've applied to several grad. schools for English, and I'm looking forward to spending this upcoming summer in Sacramento with family and friends.

Firstly, my parents, who have never failed to believe in me even when I didn't believe in myself. Secondly, my sister Eileen, who always picked me up when I was feeling down, no matter how far away I was. And lastly, all of my family, friends (Jessi, Lawson, Craig, Nick), and boyfriend (John), who have created the most amazing support system and never failed to help me when I needed it.

Favorite Saint Mary's Memory

One that always comes to mind is Take Back the Night, which is an event held for survivors of sexual assault on campus. My sophomore year I was in charge of organizing the event and seeing the impact that it had on my peers was the most gratifying feeling. I felt an extreme amount of support from my friends who attended, and I love knowing I was able to make a positive impact and help others.

My Next Chapter

I will be looking for a job as an editor with a publishing house somewhere here in the Bay Area. However, my ultimate dream is to work for Pixar in Emeryville, so I am eagerly awaiting that opportunity!

“The important thing is not how long you live, it's what you accomplish with your life. While I live, I want to shine. I want to prove that I exist. If I could do something really important, that would definitely carry on into the future. .... And so, if I were to disappear… I think all that I have accomplished will go on. That is— That would mean— that [my spirit's] living, right?"
