Favorite Saint Mary's Memory

My favorite memory would have to be the late-night adventures I would take with my roommate when we both needed to clear our heads. We would always be there for one another, especially in times of high stress. Another memory would have to be all the wildlife that I encountered, especially the buck that had a full set of antlers!

My Next Chapter

After graduation, I will become an employee at Formfactor Inc. Here I will be working as a temp to hire Environmental Health and Safety Specialist. My hope is to get hired full-time or get strong recommendations when looking for other EHS positions.

It seems to me that the natural world is the greatest source of excitement; the greatest source of visual beauty; the greatest source of intellectual interest. It is the greatest source of so much in life that makes life worth living.

Favorite Saint Mary's Memory

Getting to live with my best friends my Junior year. Alex Vela, Jiana Limtiaco, Shelby Perez, Celine Calvo, and Amalia Duennas, and myself all lived in Syufy 24. Sadly our time together was cut short due to the pandemic but we had the best times living together on campus.

My Next Chapter

As of right now I will be moving back to Sacramento to spend time with my family and prepare for my future. Whether that be school or heading directly into the work force.

Thank you to my mom who has been helping me along the way for all these years and has been there every time my illnesses have made it extremely hard. Thank you to my dad for always making me laugh at the perfect time to brighten my day when I'm stressed. Thank you to my advisor, Alice Baldridge, who has helped me get to here. And thank you CJ, my amazing boyfriend for calming me and motivating me.

Favorite Saint Mary's Memory

We would rise early for 8am classes to get there in time after eating. I'd often head out from the sophmore-senior housing to go eat. I remember one morning I was walking down the steps to cross the road, sun barely up and dew still on everything; I looked up and saw a deer and her fawn moving slowly through the trees and thinking how lucky I was to be able to go to such a nature based college.

My Next Chapter

I'm hoping to do some work with the homeless or those experiencing poor conditions and may live in polluted areas. I'm hoping I can combine writing with research in a way that might spark something in someone like my Environmental Science teacher did in me in my senior year of high school.
